The Personal Side of Rick Sammon

December 28, 2017

Award-winning photographer Rick Sammon is inspired by the world around him. He aims to have his creative visions come to life through his photography as well to help teach others to do the same. While you may know of his many awards, books, and various other accomplishments, hear from Rick about his travels, love of music, his family, and how it’s all shaped the person he is today. Amidst the stories, you’ll be inspired by the words he lives by and, just maybe, learn to view the world in a whole new way.

It was a joy to sit with Rick! His smile and attitude are infectious, and they make you want to jump up, run out and have fun—with your camera, with your loved ones, and with the life, you’re living. If you want to smile (and you won’t be able to help yourself) I encourage you to watch The Personal Side of Rick Sammon.  It’s the perfect way to start the New Year!

Thank you, Rick, for starting our 2018 with a collective great big smile!

Happy New Year, Everybody!!

That was one of the best interviews I’ve seen Kalebra. Rick has some awesome Photography. And when he shares some of his music that’s cool. I would love to have a Library of his coffee table books and music.

One thing I really like was his talking about a photo being 25% his. And giving credit to all the folks that help.
Working with sculptures like I do, they sculpt a small clay. And then 50 people turn it into the bronze you see in a gallery. It’s nice when someone recognizes us.
He has really done a lot with his photography. I didn’t know about his underwater work.

That was so funny ( to me) his talking about body language. I know my body language is one of sheer terror.

The four of you seem to have a lot in common. You, Scott, Rick, and his wife.

Very enjoyable interview. Also very close to home as we are basically the same age.
The zen of lawn mowing. I practice it every summer.
Keep up the good work KK. Thank you.
