Just a late post for #traveltuesday because that one time you spent a foggy day at the Taj Mahal was better than spending no day at the Taj Mahal. 😉
Have a nice night everybody.

I love the atmosphere and muted colours of that photo! It is such an incredible place.
It was blazing sunny/hot when we were there years ago. When I sat on the bench everyone wanted a photo with me because I had my long hair in a hundred mini braids (no idea why that was exciting to them…). So I ended up in a lot of the locals vacation snaps, LOL. Everyone thought my hubby looked like some Indian actor (yet he has red hair, hmmm). It was a fascinating time!
Thank you, Nikki. I’m so glad we have the shared experience of visiting such a fascinating place! It is interesting to see what others find interesting when we travel. I know I felt a little uncomfortable at first when my blue eyes garnered a lot of attention. After the first day, I decided to keep my sunglasses on. Hahaha! 😉
Yes, I’m sure you would stand out there, lol. It is funny what other people find interesting. Most of the people we ran into there were so friendly and happy. We ran into a family on holiday from Mumbai and they were so excited to be in our photos (and this was back in ‘film’ days, haha, so I’ve got a bunch of photos of us with this thrilled family, soooo much fun!).
Okay, Nikki, you had me until the film comment. You don’t look old enough to know anything about film. Hahahaha! 😉
