Well, Burst Mode, on the iPhone that is. π And because I forgot I got one shot, this one. Last night we were coming home (over the Causeway) when this cheeky pelican invited us to follow him. It was so exciting to see him there, over the water, all silhouetted at sunset and everything. Hahaha! And no idea that we were playing awesome music inside the car with each of us (me, my husband and our Yittle) getting to take turns picking a song, right at the moment he showed up to invite us into this beautiful flight scene. So lucky I had my trusty iPhone because even though he had invited us to follow we were about to pass him! Hahaha! A little cropping and editing in Adobe’s Aviary and voila!
I had to share though because this is a thing I love most about using the camera on my phone β chances/moments like this. Now when I think back on that exciting (soundtracked) moment with our cheeky pelican and that beautiful sunset, I’ll also have an image and that is a beautiful thing.
Have a great weekend everyone β I hope you don’t miss a moment of it. π

So that is how you did it. Excellent work. You know I do like birds and sunsets.
I do. π
Beautiful Kalebra! I bet car journeys with you guys are never dull. I like that about you π
Hahaha! Awww…thank you. π
Beautiful
Thank you. π
Beautiful shot. I’m so glad you posted the original, uncropped version too. Often I don’t take a shot if I don’t have a clear, unobstructed view. Now I’ll think twice. I just watched your iPhone course on Kelby yesterday and loved it! I learned a bunch and I even tried the video trick today! Your photos are an inspiration. Thanks so much!
Thank you for watching the course, Victoria, I’m so glad you liked it (and tried the video technique)! And when it comes to taking the shot where I’m not sure anything will come of it, I remind myself of this quote, βYou miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.β β Wayne Gretzky. There is some debate about who actually said this but I concern myself with the quote’s meaning β you get my meaning. Hahaha! π Have a great day!
