Oh, Peter, you say the most thoughtful things.

“All those years I thought that it was power that brought responsibility. It’s not. I was wrong. It’s responsibility that brings power. It’s knowing what needs to be done that brings strength. And courage.” — Peter Parker

I was in New York this weekend and found myself looking out onto a lot of not my usual perspectives. Gave into my inner Peter Parker and had a lot of fun doing it too. I don’t think it’s the last time I’ll try something like this.

Especially when it gets…reflective.

Happy Monday everyone. I hope your week is a good one. 🙂

These are very New York but simultaneously wonderfully abstract and geometric. As someone who could truthfully be described as a geometry aficionado, I find the intersections of planes and the angles of intersection quite wonderful. The final image of the girder bisecting the H and M building is a joy to behold. The images looking down portray the change from old to new architecture, with the triangular turrets and multi-layer wedding-cake like construction giving way to the Bauhaus cubic forms from the sixties onward. Your work always invites us to see things differently, in ways we might never have done before.
